A person really knows that they are at the height of cool, the top of the social ladder, when on a Friday night, they turn on the computer, sign in to three new emails from themselves, and finish off a whole pizza. Yeah, sucks to be that person.... Okay, I may fit all of the above criteria and more, but in my defence, I did go for a run today.
Actually, when I say run, I mean like the past four times, when me and my friend mostly walk along the canal, with occasional bouts of energy - "let's run to that bridge" followed by a mile of complaining of our double stitches and breathlessness. My favourite part is always when we turn around and go back past people we have just passed. In fact, my most favourite part was on Wednesday when we saw a school trip! We choose to run at 9am because everybody we would know is in school, so naturally, a school has to go on a school trip to the canal. What kind of a school trip is that?! I mean, the canal, big deal. Luckily, the average age of the crowd of youths was probably around about 5, so the embarrassment wasn't enormous.
I am not completely sure of the point of this increased amount of exercise, because it is definitely counteracted by the increased amount of junk I am eating. But I suppose this is because of the increased amount of time I am spending alone with my fridge...
