well today, following a rather conventional meal out with more extended family then you can shake a stick at, still in celebration of my mothers 50th birthday, which was yesterday, we returned home in a rather unconventional manner. Infact, we were towed home! As you can see, I was extremely helpful when the first AA man arrived to look through t
he contents of our bonnet. The one in the fluorescent jacket is the only one who was even slightly useful, even then, that is debatable, as I quote "I don't know what's wrong with it so I'm calling you a lorry". Oh but the lorry was very exciting. As you can see over here ->, me and my mother could hardly contain our excitement. It was absolutely massive - 10 foot 2 inches to be precise, as it said inside the van, and we took a picture of to prove it. It also had the added bonus of being bright yellow and therefore very inconspicuous as we drove through the quiet suburbs of Chester at ten 'o' clock...
As pictured on the left, she is my great-aunt (I think), and eighty-nine years old.
As you would expect, I felt very very young for the duration of the meal!
