vampires, disney and angel delight!

since Monday, I have had six exams. It is only Thursday!

So I will go through them. Monday was maths, the calculator paper, which I absolutely loved. Tuesday ranks high in the unwritten list of the most tedious days of my life. It opened with a 105 minute English exam, not my strong point to say the least! And as I had Geography (also 105 minutes...) in the afternoon I was not prepared at all for English. It could have gone worse, but I am only saying this in comparison to the Lit exam a couple of weeks ago which was horrendous - I do think that writing half of the papers marks (section b!) in 10 minutes is pretty bad going.. Geography was awful, tedious and I didn't know any case studies so lost most of the important marks - on the plus side, nothing I hadn't expected. On Wednesday I had the most awful french listening exam! Some of the questions were so close to impossible that I just wrote the only word I could hear as my answer, and as for the answers in english part...that was shocking. I ended up guessing about "Cécile and Marc" and decided Céc hates the world, and Marcy was a very sensible young lad whose grandparents tell all of their friends about. Sadly, I based my answers on this, and not the actual french.. Today being Thursday, although it certainly doesn't feel like it, I have gruelled through a chemistry exam while basically still asleep (the exam wasn't so bad, although what I got wrong, I got extremely wrong) then I had to return home for a shower to wake me up! Then I had a realllllly long English exam, which was actually quite nice. I had to compare one poem with any other of my choice, because I don't know any of the poems (and lost my anthology about three months ago so haven't even slightly revised them) I did the one next to it, and it worked out quite well (I hope!) then the next question was beautiful - "Describe a journey by train/plane/car/bus. 27 marks." even an English hater cannot hate that! Although I hope nobody ever reads my answer, I described a train journey and felt like a complete idiot with my completely over-the-top, mark-grubbing descriptions! Some sentences were so shameful I was certain people could see, and these people that could see were most certainly laughing, as I would have if I was reading it, and I did when I proof read the damned thing. Cheese, complete cheese on toast.

To celebrate this hideous week being over (exam-wise anyway!) I have...

  • bought myself a large Wok-and-Go (hot box, no meat♥)

  • eaten a whole thing of raspberry angel delight in my usual congratulatory manner of putting the powder and milk in a measuring jug, whisking, then eating straight from the jug! It is the way forward, believe me.

  • googled Robert Pattinson, a lot.

  • maybe the above a bit too much.

I think Robert Pattinson and Edward Cullen are two separate crushes though, as most of Edwards credit is gained from the books rather than the films (just in case you are not aware, which I am sure you are, I am talking about the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer). My sister is also home for the weekend as it is my mothers birthday tomorrow and we are having a fun filled weekend of family events, she brought with her a 3-disc Disney album called "The Best Disney Album in the World ..Ever!", this title is SO right. I love it so much, it has everything from old loves like Mulan, Hercules and Cinderella to new pop that we all pretend to hate but really love like Hannah Montana and High School Musical! Now that I know this CD exists, I do not know how I lived without it.

Here is my favourite newly discovered image of Robert to send you on your way! Although I have my all-time favourite saved on my laptop, I will whack that up when I feel the time is right...

For now, bask in his prettiness!
